Design story
Whirl Table Lamp brings a playful curve to a table-sized light. Movement is suggested by the form rather than by a moving mechanism. The line changes emphasis as the viewing angle changes, giving the piece a lively presence while keeping the lighting composition coherent.
Light and atmosphere
The light has a warm 3000K tone, with a listed output of 120 lumens. It adds a closer pool of light around the table surface.
Where it works best
- Bedside tables.
- Living room side tables.
- Desks.
- Decorative shelves.
At table height, the lamp is part of the smaller details of a room: the surface beneath it, nearby objects and the view from a seated position. Its shape can be appreciated in daylight as well as when lit.
Why we love it
- The lively form makes the lamp a decorative object as well as a light source.
Whirl Table Lamp offers a way to bring this particular shape into the room without losing the clarity of the overall composition.
